JANCO Partners downgraded Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN) from Accumulate to Market Perform with a price target of $58.00 (from $51.00), citing valuation with strong run-up.

"Despite the ratings change, we still maintain our opinion that Vail Resorts has proven the efficiency and viability of its business model by generating relativly stable results in the face of significantly headwinds form Mother Nature and the economy," the analyst said.

Shares of Vail Resorts closed at $57.07 yesterday, with a 52 week range of $35.27-$59.49.
