Barclays maintains an 'Overweight' on Agilent (NYSE: A) price target of $46.00 (from $50.00).
Analyst, Nandita Koshal, said, "Agilent reported a disappointing fiscal Q3 with EPS of $0.79 coming in below consensus of $0.83 and our est. of $0.84. Revenue of $1.72B (+2% YoY), was lower than Street and our estimate of $1.8B...Management expects the headwinds seen in Q3 to persist, and significantly lowered guidance to Q4 revenue...While the company continues to execute well, it faces near-term growth headwinds due to uncertainty in key end-markets."
Barclays lowers FY12 EPS estimate from $3.25 to $3.08 and FY13 from $3.75 to $3.48.
