Barclays maintains an 'Underweight' on C.R. Bard, Inc. (NYSE: BCR) price target of $101.00 (from $87.00).
Analyst, Matthew Taylor, said, "We are updating our estimates, model, and price target for BCR to reflect the potential windfall from patent litigation with Gore...we continue to see BCR as well-run company but one that is tied to its markets and will be challenged to increase its growth and expand margins. While the windfall is a major positive, at these levels, we think the stock is already incorporating the benefit." (as of 3/31/12, Gore had deposited $887M with the District Court)
Taylor raises FY13 EPS estimate from $7.04 to $7.72.
