Jefferies cuts estimates and its price target on Buy-rated Kosmos Energy (NYSE: KOS) from $19.00 to $17.00.

"Kosmos Energy's exploration efforts outside of its core Ghana exposure is beginning to gather pace with new acreage positions and activity in Cameroon, Morocco, Suriname and most recently, Mauritania."

FY12 EPS goes from ($0.15) to ($0.17) and FY13 from $0.47 to ($0.26).
