Now that Dell Inc. (Nasdaq: DELL) has dropped out of the bidding war for 3Par (NYSE: PAR), traders are speculating on where they will turn their attention.

In a recent analyst note, Wedbush said Dell should buy Compellent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: CML) or Brocade Communications (Nasdaq: BRCD) instead of 3Par.

The firm noted, Compellent addresses the mid-tier storage market, which is growing at a faster rate compared to high-end storage. Brocade would be a good option since storage networking and data networking are critical components of an end-to-end datacenter solution, which Dell currently does not have.

Both are 7 percent higher today.

CommVault Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CVLT) is also seeing interest today, up 5 percent.
