Wells Fargo reiterates an 'Outperform' on Vertex (NASDAQ: VRTX) price target range $65-$69.
Analyst, Brian Abrahams, said, "We believe phase II '770/'809 cystic fibrosis (CF) data increase likelihood of phase III success and approvability of combo and risk/reward into Alios nuc data is reasonable."
Abrahams also noted that the data was presented in a somewhat different way vs. prior disclosures and it raised a few questions. However, he feels that overall success in a phase III could have multibillion dollar potential.

Shares of Vertex closed at $61.11 yesterday, with a 52 week range of $26.50-$66.10.
