Jefferies initiated coverage on Springleaf Holdings (NYSE: LEAF) with a Buy rating and a price target of $39.00.

Analyst John Hecht states, "LEAF operates one of the largest domestic networks of stores offering consumer installment loans and we believe its recent real estate portfolio sale affords significant upside optionality."
