Oppenheimer analyst Rupesh Parikh lowered his price target on ULTA Salon (NASDAQ: ULTA) to $250.00 (from $270.00) while maintaining a Perform rating ahead of results on 8/24.
The firm feels comfortable with ULTA delivering FY17 EPS of at least $8.13, below a consensus figure of $8.30.
They see downside support in the $220-230ish range, which suggests a bottom could be near. Even with the underperformance, however, they still believe it's better to wait for a full reset of expectations.
