UBS Tweaks 2H EPS on Aeropostale, Inc. (ARO); Weak Early Signs of Back-To-School Selling

UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on Aeropostale, Inc. (NYSE: ARO) price target of $14.00.

After the close last night, ARO reported Q2 earnings of breakeven ($0.00) which was $0.03 worse than the consensus estimate. Revenues were also on the lighter side, ($485.3M vs. consensus of $489.57M).

UBS analyst, Roxanne Meyer tweaked her second half (2012) EPS outlook, citing (early) weak back-to-school selling. She cites ARO's Q3 EPS guidance of $0.25-0.30 vs. consensus estimate of $0.38.

Shares of ARO are trading down over 10% this afternoon.
