UBS maintains a 'Buy' on Agrium (NYSE: AGU) price target cut from $107 to $100.
UBS analyst says, "AGU reported EPS from continuing operations of $2.04; however, after excluding an impairment charge for an investment in Hanfeng of $0.30, we view adj. EPS at $2.34. Wholesale gross profit was up 64% YoY to $556M reflecting record margins in N, P and K. Retail’s record EBITDA reflects the Landmark acquisition as well as strong demand for crop input products and services. Advanced technologies was up significantly due to higher pricing and strong sales of ESN."
UBS lowers FY12 EPS estimates from $9.41 to $9.13 and FY13 from $8.56 to $8.37.
