UBS maintains a 'Neutral' on TD Ameritrade (NASDAQ: AMTD) price target of $18.00 (from $20.00).

Analyst, Alex Kramm, said, "While AMTD’s May metrics showed an increase in client activity from April (DARTs of 370k, +1% m/m, largely in line with most recent expectations), quarter-to-date DARTs are still running 7% below our original 395k estimate for the f3Q. With retail investors seemingly sidelined for now, we do not see any acceleration ahead, and as such we are lowering our f3Q12 EPS estimate (from $0.30 to $0.26)."

Although, Kramm did ask...Rate picture continues to worsen; time to buy as rates are bottoming?

UBS lowered FY12 EPS estimate from $1.12 to $1.05 and FY13 from $1.31 to $1.25.
