Sterne Agee maintains a 'Neutral' on Research In Motion Ltd. (NASDAQ: RIMM).
Analyst, Shaw Wu, said, "While we believe RIMM's valuation is depressed, we maintain our rating as we continue to be concerned with its fundamentals where the company faces major product transitions with its new BlackBerry 10 OS late this year. In addition, we remain concerned with the competitive environment as Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) gets more aggressive and Android (Nasdaq: GOOG) continues to grow."
Wu expects a decent quarterly report at least in-line with lowered consensus of $4.55 billion and $0.82. Wu sees less promotional activity as a potential positive (that may help gross margins)
