Standpoint Research initiated coverage on Philip Morris (NYSE: PM) with a Sell on Monday citing moral reasons saying Philip Morris has the black lungs and blood of 500,000,000 people on their hands.

Analyst Ronnie Moas commented: "I have a few causes that I am very passionate about and before all is said and done, I will do everything in my power to change these three situations. First of all, I want the annihilation of the tobacco industry before those bastards annihilate another ONE BILLION people as they have already. Michael Bloomberg said that tobacco will kill ONE BILLION people in the World during this century and when I crunched my numbers I came up with a similar figure. I lost my grandfather to tobacco when I was eight years old and he was coughing up blood before he died. Philip Morris has the black lungs and blood of 500,000,000 people on their hands. If I am not mistaken, these bastards now have a brand in The Philippines named Hope. I guess they could not fit the full name on the box, so they just name the cigarettes Hope instead of Hope you don’t die from cancer smoking these. First the industry gave us The Marlboro Man, and The Virginia Slims Lady, then The Camel and now cigarettes marketed to naïve people in a third world country with the name Hope."

While you're at it, what about gun manufacturers, and companies that make arms, or agribusinesses that slaughter animals. The point is there are so many businesses in the world that are subject to moral condemnation, so where do you stop. AAPL was a ridiculous downgrade by the way.
