Revenues for the quarter were $29.1 million, versus the consensus of $31.23 million. The company said "We view 2008 as a transition year and expect to improve gross and operating margins in 2009 as new transactions ramp and we gain leverage on our investments."

UTStarcom, Inc. (Nasdaq: UTSI) 18% HIGHER; sees Q1 revenues of of $580 million to $590 million, compared with the initial guidance of $500 million to $520 million. The Wall Street consensus is $515.2 million.
Multi Fineline Electronix (Nasdaq: MFLX) 17% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.41, 14 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenues for the quarter were $163.9 million, versus the consensus of $152.47 million.
OpenTV Corp. (Nasdaq: OPTV) 17% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.05, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenues for the quarter were $33.9 million, versus the consensus of $25.05 million.
ON Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ONNN) 15% HIGHER; reports Q1 earnings of $0.21 per share, ex-items, 7 cents better than the consensus of $0.14. Revenues came in at $421.9 million, versus the consensus of $386.9 million. Sees Q2 revenues of $545-$560 million, which does not compare to the consensus of $388.65 million.
Syniverse Technologies (NYSE: SVR) 12.5% HIGHER; reports Q1 cash net income, a non-GAAP measure, of $0.37, versus the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenues for the quarter were $115.6 million, versus the consensus of $102.37 million. (Net income per diluted share was $0.23 in first quarter 2008, a 99.7% increase compared to first quarter 2007). Cash net income per diluted share was $0.37 in first quarter 2008, a 74.8% increase compared to first quarter 2007. The company is revising guidance and providing the following outlook for 2008: Net Revenues $455 - $465 million (Consensus is $435.83 million), Net Income $59 - $64 million, Adjusted EBITDA $207 - $214 million Cash Net Income $97 - $102 million .

THQ Inc (Nasdaq: THQI) 6.6% LOWER; reports a Q4 loss of $0.37, 31 cents worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenues for the quarter were $217.6 million (non-GAAP), versus the consensus of $200.76 million. For the fiscal first quarter ending June 30, 2008, THQ expects to report net sales in the range of approximately $115 million to $125 million and a net loss per share in the range of approximately $0.38 to $0.42. The anticipated loss reflects a light product release schedule and the timing of expenses. (Revenue consensus is $122.52 million and EPS consensus is loss of $0.18). For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2009, THQ expects net sales in the range of approximately $1,175 million to $1,200 million and operating margins in the high single digits, resulting in earnings per diluted share in the range of approximately $0.95 to $1.05.
