Piper Jaffray comments on rumors of a Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) phone, dubbed the \'Gphone\', calling them "partially credible."
Analyst Gene Munster said, "... we believe Google could be developing a mobile operating system that relies heavily on its search features, Gmail, Google Apps, etc. However, we do not believe that Google will manufacture mobile handset hardware or brand a phone as a Google phone."
The firm said the Google mobile software could compete directly with Microsoft\'s Windows Mobile platform.
