Oppenheimer boosted its price target on Outperform-rated EMC (NYSE: EMC) from $27 to $28 and commented on recently introduced VFCache, formerly known as Project Lightning.
The analyst comments, "Overall, we believe VFCache helps EMC address the
needs of some of its high-performance customers and serves as an entry point into
a fast-growing segment. However, it's clear the solution would need to continue to
evolve to better address competitive risks. In sum, a first step but more is needed."
