Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) price target of $37.00.
Analyst, Rick Sherlund, said, "Microsoft announced its own tablet hardware to be released with Windows 8 later this year. The hardware appeared well engineered and elegantly designed, offering a thin, lightweight, tablet or Ultrabook-like form-factor, optimized for both content consumption and content production like the Ultrabook-touch devices. Initially, tablets will be sold through their own on-line and retail stores, permitting a greater portion of retail sales price in its HW margins. We think the risk/reward is favorable at 7.2x CY’13E earnings, excluding $5.35 in net cash (tax-affected for repatriation) and 6.9x EV to uFCF."
