Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Coach (NYSE: COH) price target raised from $72 to $74.
Analyst, Paul Lejuez, said, "2Q was a strong quarter as the U.S. retail business continued its momentum without increased promotions, China growth remained robust (we estimate +70%, similar to 1Q), and gross margin was above expectations. We are raising our F12E from $3.43 to $3.54 (based on 2Q upside and increases to our 2H12E); however, with comp comparisons no more challenging in 2H relative to 2Q and expectations for improved GM, we believe there is upside to our estimates. We are also raising our price target to $74 to reflect our forecast increase."
