Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) price target of $18.00.
Analyst, Romit Shah, said, "This will likely be a good year for the discrete graphics business ($2.5bn in sales). The 28nm Kepler GPU is considered the best graphics processor on the market, featuring double the power efficiency than the prior generation and a more scalable architecture. We expect this chip to drive share gains at Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) (MacBook Pro), mainstream notebooks and desktops platforms, and in professional graphics."
"Considering that NVDA is trading at 1x EV/sales and 11x CY13E EPS with $5 in net cash, we believe that the stock is more than pricing in lackluster growth. We believe that the GPU business will prove stickier than investor expectations and that Tegra will become more widely adopted in quad-core smartphones and tablets later this year."
