Needham & Company reiterates a 'Buy' on Aviat Networks (NASDAQ: AVNW) price target of $3.50.
Analyst, Richard Valera, said, "For the second quarter in a row, Aviat delivered solid quarterly results relative to guidance on all key metrics--including revenue, gross margin and cash burn—suggesting the business appears to have turned the corner following numerous quarters of restructuring and cash burn. While the path to higher revenue and profitability is unlikely to be linear, given the company’s largely completed restructuring and numerous quarters of positive book:bills, we feel it is better positioned than it has been in the last couple of years. Combined with still-modest (in our view) valuation of EV/F12E sales of 0.17x, we see the shares as attractive for value-oriented investors."
"Our F2012 goes to $439MM/$0.07 NG EPS from $432MM/$0.02 and F13 goes to $458MM/$0.20 NG EPS from $453MM/$0.17."
