Merriman Curhan Ford comments on Wireless Technology stocks after Nokia (NYSE: NOK) (Not-rated) lowers guidance.
Merriman analyst says, "This morning, Nokia pre-announced its second quarter results. The company now anticipates revenue to be at the lower end or below its previously guided range of €6.7-7.2B. The revenue outlook is being impacted by the Devices and Services business where competitive pressures at the high end and a product mix shift. In particular, the N-Series continues to struggle, while the E-Series has performed in-line."
Merriman reiterates a 'Buy' rating on RF Micro Devices (Nasdaq: RFMD), Brightpoint (Nasdaq: CELL), COGO Group (Nasdaq: COGO), & Triquint Semiconductor (Nasdaq: TQNT).
