Meredith Whitney Advisory upgraded Citigroup (NYSE: C), Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) and Discover (NYSE: DFS), according to CNBC. The ratings on all three were raised from Hold to Buy.
In a research report to clients entitled "Shifting to a Positive Stance on Financials: Upgrading BAC, C, DFS," she said an upcoming catalysts is the release of CCAR results from the Fed. She said BofA could quadruple its dividend after that.
