Lululemon Athletica Inc. (LULU) Likely to Positively Preannounce in the Next Week - William Blair

William Blair analyst Sharon Zackfia reiterated an Outperform rating on Lululemon Athletica Inc. (NASDAQ: LULU) expecting the company lululemon to preannounce fourth-quarter results ahead of group meetings scheduled at the ICR Conference (January 13 and 14).

The analyst stated "We believe lululemon had another robust holiday season despite a compressed holiday calendar, with exceptionally strong traffic and a continued healthy cadence of new product flow. Markdowns were minimal in the weeks leading up to Christmas, while post-holiday markdowns were higher than last year’s unusually low levels but similar to 2017. As a result, we believe lululemon will likely beat guidance for a low-double-digit comp gain as well as our expectation for an approximate 13% comp (high-single-digit brick-and mortar comp and a 20%-plus increase in e-commerce)".
