Brean Capital today maintained a Buy rating on True Religion Apparel (NASDAQ: TRLG) with a price target of $32.00. Yesterday the company announced that its founder and CEO Jeff Lubell will step down.

Commenting on developments, analyst Eric Beder said, "We believe the management change creates a situation where potential acquirers, with the ability to bring in their own management team (with limited severance costs), will look even more favorably to buy TRLG. Further, if a deal is not completed, we believe Lynne will be a highly competent CEO who will be able to drive more visible and consistent returns."
