Jefferies Starts Discover Financial (DFS) at Buy

Jefferies initiates coverage on Discover Financial (NYSE: DFS) with a Buy rating and a price target of $75.00.

Analyst John Hecht commented, "We believe that DFS is gaining domestic card share through strong brand recognition and effective marketing, while other products such as student loans and personal loans complement the card business and enhance growth opportunities. Further, we think the balance sheet is relatively well positioned for rising rates, while DFS has a solid capital position."
