Jefferies Says FDA Request from Amylin (AMLN) Will Not Impact Acquisition Potential

Jefferies commented on Amylin Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: AMLN) following news the FDA was seeking updated data from the ongoing clinical studies of metreleptin to support its BLA submission.

"While the nature of this request remains unclear, we see the potential delay of metreleptin approval as of negligible impact to our expectation that AMLN will likely make a decision about acquisition by September."

The firm maintained their Buy rating and price target of $32.00
