Jefferies Lifts Target on Amarin (AMRN) After Positive Patent Actions

Jefferies boosted its price target on Buy-rated Amarin Corporation (NASDAQ: AMRN) from $24 to $26 after the patent office (PTO) posted unexpected positive office actions on three key patent applications based on MARINE: the core ‘889 application and two continuation applications ‘408 and ’14.

"We believe these actions should lead to near-term issuance of these patents, which could provide AMR101 protection through 2030. We remain bullish on near-term approval of AMR101."
