Janney's Top Small Cap Ideas Following 10% Russell Correction

Janney put together a list Tuesday of its Top Small Cap Ideas on the heels of the 10% correction in the Russell 2000. Janney asked their Senior Research Analysts to highlight their top small cap idea for the next 6 – 12 months.

The report comes amid the 10% correction and a report last week from Janney Chief Technical Strategist, Dan Wantrobski. In that report, Dan made the case that: "Currently we believe that the divergence between small- and large-caps (as measured by relative strength) is moving toward extremes- and thus we expect ‘mean reversion’ to occur within the next few weeks. This implies that small-cap benchmarks such as the Russell 2000 are gearing up for relative outperformance ahead- as oversold conditions are reduced on the charts."
