IAC/InterActiveCorp (IACI) Investors too Negative, Analyst Maintains Buy

Yesterday IAC/InterActiveCorp (NASDAQ: IACI) reported Q4 EPS of $0.70, $0.08 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.78. Revenue for the quarter came in at $765.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $758.1 million.

"IAC delivered strong Q4 revenue, but EPS fell short of expectations largely due to higher than expected losses from Media & Other and corporate expenses," said analyst Kerry Rice.

"Given investors' concern regarding the impact of the Google policy changes, we are encouraged by the FY13 Search revenue guidance."

Needham & Company today maintained a Buy rating on IAC/InterActiveCorp (NASDAQ: IACI) but cut its price target to $55.00 (from $65.00)

Shares of IAC/InterActiveCorp closed at $43.01 yesterday, with a 52 week range of $38.20-$55.57.
