Goldman Sachs reiterates a 'Buy' on Monsanto (NYSE: MON) price target raised from $90 to $92.

Analyst, Robert Koort, said, "MON pre-announced 3Q2012 EPS of $1.57-$1.62, well above our/Street estimates of $1.37/$1.29...raised its FY2012 EPS guidance to $3.65-$3.70 from $3.49-$3.54...Management commentary indicated that there was better-than-expected follow-through from the strong start to the selling season...Importantly, MON confirmed its expectation to grow EPS mid-teens in 2013 despite now starting from a much higher base in 2012."

"We raise our 3Q2012 EPS estimate by $0.23 to $1.60. We also raise our FY2012 EPS estimate to $3.70, which is at the top of management’s new guidance range. We reiterate our FY13/14 EPS estimates of $4.38/$5.05, which represent 18% and 15% yoy EPS growth."
