Goldman Sachs assumed coverage on Arch Coal Inc (NYSE: ACI) with a Neutral rating and a price target of $0.70.

Analyst Pavan Hoskote said, "We assume coverage of Arch Coal (ACI) at Neutral with a 6-month price target of $0.70, implying a 49% return vs. 8% for our coverage group. ACI is challenged by: (1) high leverage ratios and low returns relatively to other companies in our coverage, and (2) leverage to our cautious thermal coal outlook. We rate shares Neutral as these concerns appear reflected in shares with the stock having fallen by 87% over the last year and with the company having a market capitalization of only $100 mn."
