Bernstein analyst Alexia Howard said today's 11% sell-off in Dean Foods (NYSE: DF) on the news that Walmart is going into milk production in 2017 is overdone.
"... the outlook for 2016 remains strong and the company is now on firmer footing given category trends improving and productivity savings coming through," Howard said.
"We will continue to monitor the situation. Valuation at a 12.5x P/E FY16 remains attractive at these levels."
The firm maintained an Outperform rating and price target of $25
