Compass Point maintains a 'Neutral' on Coinstar (NASDAQ: CSTR) price target of $70.00.
Analyst, Douglas Greiner, said, "Coinstar has completed the purchase of NCR's (NYSE: NCR)(Neutral, $23 PT) Entertainment division. Following the announcement, we are lowering our Core EPS forecast by $0.43 from $4.51 to $4.08 this year and reiterating our $5.15 EPS estimate next year. Losses are expected to be incurred initially, due to acquired kiosks being swapped with Redbox kiosks, with profitability achieved sometime in 2013. Coinstar plans to provide additional information including the breakout of core versus non-core items on the Q2 conference call. A favorable classification mix of core versus non-core items would provide upside to our forecast."
