Citi adds Ecolab (NYSE: ECL) to the Top Picks Live list and removes Albemarle (NYSE: ALB).
Citi analyst says, "We are adding ECL to the Top Picks Live list as we believe the company's defensive portfolio should continue to deliver consistent growth despite a turbulent economy. We still like ALB based on its strong pricing power and opportunity for margin expansion in the core refinery catalyst and flame retardant businesses...Recession Just a Speed Bump — ECL's repeatable & defensive businesses are necessities for the hospitality & institutional markets in a flourishing economy and recession. ECL is a stronger, well-positioned company heading into this recession due to its strong #1 position & more robust global footprint vs. 1990."
Citi maintains a 'Buy' rating on ECL with a $57 price target.
