Jefferies analyst Mike McCormack reiterated a Buy rating and $150 price target on Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR) following a Wall Street Journal article suggesting that Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) is nearing a deal with Charter to sell approximately 4mn subscribers should Comcast succeed in acquiring Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) via a complex two-stage transaction.
"We view such a transaction a win for both companies, and in particular for Charter as a transaction could yield double digit FCF/share accretion, even under conservative assumptions," McCormack said.
