Canaccord Genuity Maintains a Hold Rating on AeroVironment (AVAV) Following Analyst Day Presentations

Canaccord Genuity maintains a Hold rating and $30 price target on AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV) following analyst day presentations. Analyst Bobby Burleson views long-term growth opportunities as positive.

Burleson commented, "We attended AVAV's 2015 Investor and Analyst day presentation at the company's Simi Valley, CA facility. The Analyst day included presentations from senior management on AVAV's UAS and EES segments as well as flight demonstrations, a customer panel discussion and a production facility tour. We view long-term growth opportunities for both commercial drones and charging products as positive, however higher spending creates uncertainty around results looking into fiscal 2016 prompting us to maintain a HOLD rating."
