Brean Murray Carret & Co. maintains a 'Buy' on NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) price target of $45.00.
Brean analyst says, "NTAP reports Jan Qtr on 2/15, and while we expect an in-line qtr, we see balanced risk reward headed into the call given recent appreciation - that said, we believe NTAP is a $40-45 stock when taking a 9 month+ view, and as such would use any weakness off the call to purchase shares (assuming no material business model softening in the guidance)."
"We expect NTAP to guide around April Qtr Street EPS of $1.68B and $0.63 although we expect some conservatism in both tone and guidance."
