Brean Murray Carret & Co. maintains a 'Buy' on Comcast Corp (NASDAQ: CMCSA) price target raised $1 to $35.
Analyst, Todd Mitchell, said, " We expect continued outperformance of core cable operations, improved profitability from NBCU, and stably growing capital returns...Shares of CMCSA have outperformed, but we remain favorably inclined due to the potential for upside from NBCU as the perpetually ratings-challenged broadcast network looks to increased political advertising and an ambitious plan for the summer Olympics for potential upside in 2H12."
Mitchell sees Q1 EPS of $0.43 on revs of $14.4 bln. Raises FY12 EPS from $1.85 to $1.90.
