Major Oil -
Analyst, Paul Y. Cheng, said, "EV/2013 EBIDA: The group is currently trading at 5.7x EV/2013 EBIDA. Hess (NYSE HES) and Murphy Oil (NYSE: MUR) are trading at the largest discount to the group at 4.3x, while Imperial Oil (NYSE: IMO) is trading at the highest premium at 8.8x EV/2013 EBIDA."
"Share Performance: YTD, the North America-based major oil companies are down 10%, with Suncor Energy (NYSE: SU) showing the smallest decrease, down 2%, while HES shows the biggest decrease, down 21%. Over the last week, the group was up 5%. This compares to the SPX showing a 5% gain YTD and up 4% over the last week."
Independent Refiners -
