Barclays U.S. IT Hardware: Day 2 Conference Highlights: Focusing on Long Term Given Near-term Challenges

Analyst, Ben A. Reitzes, said, "We concluded Day 2 of the Barclays Global TMT Conference (5/23) in New York, NY. Several key IT Hardware companies under coverage presented, including IBM (NYSE: IBM) (2-EW), Xerox (NYSE: XRX) (2-EW), Ingram Micro (NYSE: IM) (2-EW) as well as other key companies not under coverage including Xyratex (Nasdaq: XRTX), OCZ Technology (NYSE: OCZ) and Electronics for Imaging (Nasdaq: EFII). Similar to Day 1, the overall tone on the demand environment remained cautious - especially in Europe. However, IBM focused solely on its long-term roadmap of achieving $20 in EPS by 2015."
