Barclays reiterates an 'Overweight' on Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) price target of $750.00.

Analyst, Ben A. Reitzes, commented after a Barclays software colleague attended the Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Surface Tablet announcement. Reitzes agrees that the 32GB ARM based model is targeted against the iPad.

However, Reitzes and partners agree that they are confused on the fact that Microsoft is going back into hardware, while selling software to OEM's like HP (NYSE: HPQ) and Dell (Nasdaq: DELL) that offer similar products to the Surface. Actually, MSFT may have 'One-upped' their OEMs, which may cause lucrative business relationships to eventually suffer.

In all, Reitzes, feels that the Surface may end up being more of a threat to Android's (Nasdaq: GOOG) push into tablets, rather than Apple's.
