Barclays reiterates an 'Overweight' on Annaly Capital Management (NYSE: NLY) price target of $18.00.
Analyst, Mark C. DeVries, said, "Despite our view for further earnings and dividend reductions, we still think NLY will provide an attractive total return, particularly when viewed against the broader market. While peers may have more appetite for risk and consequently higher returns, NLY's conservative management should provide downside risk while also yielding in the low-teens."
DeVries lowers FY12 EPS estimate from $2.30 to $2.03 and introduces FY13 of $2.10.
