Analyst, Jason M. Goldberg, said, "Relative to our expectations, modestly lower-than-expected expenses (positive operating leverage continued) and loan loss provision (asset quality continued to improve), as well as a lower-than-anticipated tax rate, were able to more than offset a lower-than-projected net interest margin."

Goldberg raises FY12 EPS estimate from $3.85 to $4.25 and FY13 from $4.15 to $4.35.
