Barclays maintains an 'Overweight' on Volterra Semiconductor (NASDAQ: VLTR) price target of $27.00 (from $28.00).

Analyst, Blayne Curtis, lowered FY12 EPS estimate from $1.44 to $1.30, revenue from $182M to $175M. For FY13, EPS estimate is cut from $1.60 to $1.51 and revs from $206M to $200M.

However, Curtis is still positive on shares, and said, "...The softness in the notebook/server end markets is not surprising and we still see Volterra as a secular share gainer in servers and notebooks in 2013. Early indications for Shark Bay traction are positive but the magnitude of wins will be the most critical milestone for the company (expected August/September)."
