Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) price target raised to $30.00.
Barclays analyst says, "Despite the Windows miss, we believe investors will take comfort in solid bookings and a constructive FY12 outlook heading into September (board meeting, analyst day, PDC). We look for the shares to hold gains, with consensus estimates likely to move higher. We maintain our rating on PC/competitive concerns and raise our price target to $30 based on increase in our CY12 EPS estimate...For FY12, we are increasing our revenue estimate by approximately $400 million to $75.56 billion to reflect an increase in our Server & Tools estimate, with a$1.1 billion increase in our E&D forecast offsetting a $1.1 billion decrease in Windows revenue. We are also increasing our EPS estimate to $2.88 from $2.73, primarily reflecting an increase in our gross margin assumption and a $0.07 positive impact from a lower expected tax rate."
