BMO Capital maintains a 'Market Perform' on Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) price target of $14.00 (from $15.00).
Analyst, Keith Bachman, said, "Given weak expectations, we think Dell's July Q was about in line, even with a slight revenue miss. However, we think guidance of approx $1.70 was lower than expectations. We had projected $1.82 for FY13, compared to consensus of $1.90...We are reducing our estimates to $1.73 from $1.83 for FY13, and to $1.82 from $1.93 for FY14."
"As we look longer-term, we struggle to identify a catalyst, as we do not think Win8 will help PC growth, and we do not think Dell is well positioned in the tablet market."
