William Blair analyst Jason Ader weighed in on Arista Networks (NYSE: ANET) following news CFO Kelyn Brannon will be leaving the company for personal reasons.
"While some may rush to judgment, we believe Mr. Brannon's departure was genuinely due to personal reasons, with no read-through to internal management issues or business trends," Ader commented. "Furthermore, we believe that Mr. Brannon brought a degree of financial discipline and processes to the Arista organization that provides a strong foundation for her future successor. We note that Mr. Bechtolsheim was Arista's first CFO, and he knows his way around the numbers, which should serve the company well in the interim."
The firm maintained an Market Perform rating on the stock.
