Analysts Defend Questcor (QCOR) On Free-Fall In Shares

Analysts are coming out to defend Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: QCOR) with today's major sell-off after a negative research piece. However, at this point, it's to no avail.

Piper Jaffray reiterated their Outperform rating and $60 price target saying they do not believe generics are a risk. Even if filed, it would be a minimum 30 month stay. The firm specifically talked to Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: WPI), which said they have no plans to pursue filing for a generic version.

Shares of QCOR are down over 20 percent.
