In the view of analysts at Oppenheimer, Acme Packet (NASDAQ: APKT) has a lot going for it.
"In an industry that we believe has excellent long-term prospects, we like Acme Packet long-term. We believe its technology lead in the service provider space and with large enterprises will remain. From a user perspective, we see lots of green fields . . . so in our minds, it's not a matter of [if], but rather [when]," said analyst Andrew Uerkwitz.
That said, Uerkwitz is cautious given low visibility into timing. He also expressed concern about valuation.
Oppenheimer has a Perform rating on Acme Packet (NASDAQ: APKT).

Shares of Acme Packet closed at $18.82 yesterday, with a 52 week range of $13.26-$41.08.
