AT&T Drops Dish Network (DISH) As Satellite TV Provider, Signs DirectTV (DTV)

According to reports from the Wall Street Journal, AT&T (NYSE: T) is switching its satellite-television provider from Dish Network (Nasdaq: DISH) to DirecTV (NYSE: DTV).

DirecTV now has deals with all the major U.S. phone companies, while Dish Network does not have a phone company partner.

DISH Network Corporation provides satellite delivered digital television services in the United States,

AT&T representatives (3) knocked on my door yesterday and today telling me that AT&T is offering some great deals. I was told that AT&T now owns Dish network, my current provider. I don't believe them.
